Wade
has been studying Jin Shin Jyutsu since 2000, originating his study
with Self Help, learning with Heiko Schmidt and continuing with
teachers Matthias Roth, Jed Schwartz and Adele Leas. He has been working privately
since 2001 on a part time basis.
After studying with Adele
Leas, he has become the "dog whisperer" at his "day job" and he works
on his own 15 year old German Sheppard Shana almost every day.
Wade is the local practitioner at the Chicago office.
"Letting go and exhaling have been two of my greatest gifts."

Jack Rost has been studying "body work" since 1978. While he initially studied more standard methods such as massage, he was quickly drawn to alternative energy modalities. Jack was first introduced to Jin Shin Jyutsu® in 1984 through a Self-Help book that was given to him. He used this simple study many times over the next 15 years.
During this time he continued his search for a modality that really ‘spoke’ to him.
In 1991, he met and studied with Daskalos in Cyprus, Greece (profiled in: “The Magus of Strovolos” by Kyriacos Markides). Jack studied additional methods such as Reiki, still searching for that modality that ‘spoke’ to him. In 1999 Jack met Jin Shin Jyutsu. Truly met it that is. After utilizing the Self-Help book given to him 15 years earlier, the universe presented him with the opportunity to study the philosophy that is Jin Shin Jyutsu. He immediately knew he had found ‘it’.
In 1999 Jack began studying and working under the guidance of Matthias Roth, one of the world’s prominent instructors of this Art. For several years, he traveled with Matthias throughout the United States providing treatments during Matthias’ seminars and expanding his knowledge of Jin Shin Jyutsu. Jack has his private practice in New York City and consults in Chicago. He continues to be a practitioner of this ancient Art, providing individual sessions as well as private consultations and classes. He remains a student of Jin Shin Jyutsu where he continues to learn to BE.

Madeline Fan started playing with Jin Shin Jyutsu in1997. “I came to Jin Shin Jyutsu in order to help with a rash, but found out that I had cleared up my asthma instead! Later the rash cleared up too. What I love about Jin Shin Jyutsu is the agency of being able to help myself, to remember what feeling good is even when life’s stresses and strains seem especially bad. The surprising rediscovery of a sense of wholeness and self-reliance is what is so fun about this art. It is this sense of self that I especially love to share with others.”
Madeline is shown here with her son, Ernesto, who is familiar with Jin Shin Jyutsu both from sessions in utero as well as since he was born in 2002. Madeline studied with Matthias Roth, Ian Harris, and Elaine Mueller. Madeline resides and practices out of her Brattleboro, Vermont office and consults in Chicago and New York.
Madeline@JSJChicago.comIt is this office's goal to bring the simple art of Jin Shin Jyutsu and the balance and harmony that is Jin Shin Jyutsu into people's lives through individual sessions, counseling and self help and the organization of classes and continuing education.
